Variant Cover Reveals for Life #1 & Spectregraph #3
This summer is bringing some terrifying eye candy with the debut of Life and the penultimate chapter of Spectregraph.
In August, co-creators Brian Azzarello (The Blood Brothers Mother, 100 Bullets) and Stephanie Phillips (Phoenix, Harley Quinn) will unleash Life—a flipbook illustrated by Danijel Žeželj. The sci-fi epic presents a dystopian future through the dual perspectives of artificially immortal prisoners and intergalacitc thieves. Both groups will collide on an abandoned mining planet in a fury of violence and desperation.
Before Life debuts, take a look at the new variant covers for the first issue from such luminaries as Jock (Gone, Batman: One Dark Night), Dave Johnson (100 Bullets), and Junko Mizuno (Ravina the Witch?, Pure Trance).

But unnatural horrors loom far closer than space. Spectregraph co-creators James Tynion V and Christian Ward have constructed an insidious, neon-lit haunted house hiding a malevolent machine devoted to recreating the human soul (i.e. ghosts). Its third chapter launches later this summer, revealing more sordid secrets in a mansion where two women find themselves trapped in a labyrinth of tortured wraiths. Ward, Werther Dell'Edera (Something Is Killing the Children), Alex Eckman-Lawn (Sandman: Nightmare Country), Caspar Wijngaard (All Against All, Home Sick Pilots), and Sam Wolfe Connelly (Mondo) all offer stunning art that's as revolting as it is inspiring.
